Sage Property Company is led by a senior team with deep experience in self-storage investments, institutional capital markets, asset operations, and dispositions.
Matt is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Sage Property Company, where he leads the firm’s investment, capital formation, and acquisition strategies. With over a decade of experience in self-storage investments, he has sourced, structured, and closed transactions across multiple market cycles.
Prior to co-founding Sage, Matt was a partner at City Line Capital, where he led the sourcing and acquisition of more than 100 self-storage assets, helping to build one of the largest privately held portfolios in the sector. Earlier in his career, he was an investment sales professional at HFF (now JLL), specializing in self-storage investment sales transactions and institutional capital placement. He has executed more than $1.5 billion in self-storage transaction volume.
Matt holds a degree in Finance from Penn State University’s Smeal College of Business.

Matt is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Sage Property Company, where he leads all asset management, operational strategy, and exit strategy for the firm’s portfolio.
Before co-founding Sage, Matt was a partner at City Line Capital. He has served as a principal decision-maker on over 125 storage investments, overseeing deal execution, financing, and asset management. He held prior roles in retail and healthcare real estate before joining HFF (now JLL), where he specialized in investment sales and structured capital solutions for self-storage transactions.
Matt has completed more than 250 transactions totaling over $1.5 billion in asset value across multiple sectors.
He is a graduate of Loyola University Maryland.
Anna is a Partner and Head of Acquisitions at Sage Property Company, where she leads the firm’s business development and investment efforts. She has nine years of experience focused exclusively on self-storage investments and has been involved in nearly 220 transactions totaling over $2 billion in value.
Prior to Sage, Anna served as Vice President of Investments at Simply Self Storage, a Blackstone-owned portfolio company. During her tenure, she closed 38 transactions representing nearly $500 million in asset value. The platform was acquired by an industry-leading REIT in 2023.
Anna previously worked alongside both Sage co-founders at HFF and City Line Capital, where she advanced from Analyst to Director of Acquisitions with responsibilities across sourcing, underwriting, and execution.
She holds a Finance degree from Villanova University and was a four-year member of the women’s varsity volleyball team.
